This site gives you a good amount of information on Ancient Greece. It has topics on their history, environment, architecture, art, religion, philosophy, clothing, people, war government, economy, language and literature, food, sports, and science. The facts they gave is very informative and understandable. The topics have specific words to make it easier to search for an answer or to do research. At every section, there are visuals to give you a picture or image on what the topic is about. Also at the bottom of every section, there are book suggestions that relate to the topic you are on. In the myths segment, there is a table of myths and stories that the Greeks told. The writer of the myth is given when the link is clicked on. Every section also has specific dates in which the events occurred and this keeps you track on the order of events. There is a link that shows different crafts and projects you can do. Specific information is given for each activity and images are also given at each activity. This site is very convenient on giving links inside a paragraph to a page with more information on that subject. Overall this site is very useful and informative on specific topics.

This is a simple site that has information on Greek mythology. There is a search function in which you type in a key word and it searches for all related topics. An encyclopedia of Greek gods, cities, and symbols is also included in the site. You have the option to search or look through the index to find a word. When a word is found, a link is given that goes to a page with a description of that word you searched for. A link to Greek gods can also be found. When clicked on, it shows you a portrait of numerous Greek Olympians. You may simply click on one figure and information on that Olympian is given. When the heroes link is clicked on, the page contains animations of heroes faces. Information on a hero is given when the animation of the hero is clicked on. One other link is the today link. Basically is gives information on Greek myths and how it relates to today. You can either read the myth or click on the link to an illustrated version of it. The illustrated version gives an animation or image followed by the myth that goes with it. This site is a good source to find information on Greek mythology.

The site gives information on democracy and how it is used today. A link to the history of democracy is show and when clicked on, a page full of information is given. Specific topics of its history are written at the beginning of each section such as “The Origin of Democracy” or “The Path to Modern Democracy.” Some sections may contain images of important people that have shaped the way democracy is today. The theories of government link has page of information on ideas how a democratic government should be ran. Information of methods of distributing power is also given. The models of democracy page gives descriptions on what principals and models democracy gives. Specific models are given on the links below such as the Participatory, Protective, Developmental, or the Pluralist Model. Information are given to each on their specific pages. Another link is given is the challenges of democracy link. This link gives and shows information on what conflicts and problems are shown from democracy such as lack of citizen participation. There is a democracy discussion forum at the front page. This is where you can share your thoughts on democracy and get feedback on what your thoughts were. There is also a search function in which you can search the site for specific sections. This site shows a good amount of information on democracy and should be looked at when researching.
